Specified Fittings was established in 1997 and is one of the major manufacturers of plastic pipe fittings in North America. We produce a full line of PVC and HDPE fittings, from adapters to wyes and everything in between in a range of sizes to meet every need. End configurations are solvent weld, gasket, butt fusion, socket fusion, compression and flange to name just a few. Sample fittings are available on request. They use the Rieber gasket almost exclusively in our gasketed fittings because it offers a positive seal that is both pressure and vacuum tight, thus preventing rolling or dislocation of the gasket during installation. Composition of the standard gasket is SBR but we also offer EPDM (EP), Viton, nitrile and neoprene—to name a few—for those applications where SBR may be unsuitable because of the characteristics of the fluid to be contained or the properties of the surrounding environment.
